Since 1998, Michael J. Lehrhaupt, Founder of Strategies for Wealth Management, has been helping clients protect their assets and income due to risks they may face in retirement. As a Certified Financial Fiduciary (CF2), Michael and his staff are committed to providing the highest level of service and guidance to their clients.
The belief of the Strategies for Wealth Management team is to provide a sound, holistic financial plan for retirement, which should include well defined strategies to address such risks as longevity, market volatility and unexpected illness.
In addition to helping over 1200 clients protect their retirement assets and income, Michael is a well-renowned trainer and educator in the field of Retirement Planning. He is a sought after and highly regarded public speaker, having spoken on numerous occasions at national events. In addition, Michael has been quoted in many local and national publications, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
Michael resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife of over 30 years and their three children. In addition to spending time with his family in his spare time, he also enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and giving back to his community.

Laura Lehrhaupt, Co-Founder of Strategies For Wealth Management, graduated from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Laura is a Certified Financial Fiduciary (CF2) and enjoys working one-on-one with our wonderful clients to help them achieve their retirement goals.
Laura entered the workforce as a Sales Assistant for CBS Radio before starting a career in Children’s Theater. Laura served as the Education Director at the Little Palm Family Theater in Boca Raton, FL for many years.
When Laura moved to Connecticut with her family, she made a career change into the fitness industry. She pursued several certifications in health and wellness, including nutrition and herbalism. Laura worked with Michael in the Financial Services industry for several years while her children were young.
Laura still has a passion for wellness and exercise and loves to practice yoga in her free time. Her motto is “There are no problems only solutions!”

Sharon has been a proud volunteer of the CT. Special Olympic Winter Olympics speed skating competition in Simsbury, CT for over 25 years.

He is the director of the transfer department, in charge of the tracking of policies from the point of initial application until the policy is issued by the carrier.
Jeff resides in Stamford, CT where he enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid sports fan and spends most of his spare time doing physical activities such as playing sports and weight training.

Heidi lives in Fairfield with her loving husband, they have a recent college grad daughter and a son/junior in college. In her free time, Heidi enjoys playing Mah Jongg, movies, writing and relaxing with their two cats.

Reuben Lehrhaupt graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he worked for 5 years as a Senior Structural Engineer at Quest Global developing his programming and automation skillset.
With a background in Python, AWS, APIs, GUI development, JS, HTML, and CSS, Reuben builds custom backend and frontend software tools, websites, and workflows.
